Cool Graffiti!
This is for another part of my "Learn to Dance for Free" animation. Trivia: the monkey head is called Suzanne and it's Blender's mascot.

BACK TO 3D!!!! (Work In Progress - Stereoscopic Test)
Hello my Friend,
after a long time focusing on aspects pertaining to the 2D spectrum, I'm back to 3D!!! And it's good to be back...
Since Cops and Robbers, back in May I was refining the depth of focus as a way to add realism to my animations. Now I'm quite confident on how to handle it so it's time to see how depth of focus (especially very shallow ones) interact with the needs of a stereoscopic setup.
Without further ado, this is my most recent test (Red Cyan glasses):
As you can see (with appropriate 3D specs), the wooden floor with its grooves provide enough stereoscopic cue so the image "reads" as 3D as opposed to a flat image with some color offset. In case you new to 3D, one of the main headaches is that you must always provide the aforementioned cues or the brain won't understand these superimposed 2D images as a single 3D one. I dunno if I make sense anymore...
Anyway, if you'd like to fiddle around a bit, I'm providing the left and right images so you can open them in your stereo program (I use StereoPhotoMaker, a freeware):
Have fun!

VOTE for ME!
Please help a lone animator surviving on Penne pasta and Red Kidney Beans by VOTING on my ANIMATION.
It's called Cops and Robbers and the thumbnail looks like an Atari Game.
If I win, I'll cut back on the beans thus reducing my only source of pollution. thank you!
